Josie is a Native American woman with significant expertise in microwave transponders and electronic assembly, complemented by government certifications and Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma credentials. After retiring from Boeing, Josie has held several managerial and R&D positions Despite her professional achievements, she feels a strong connection to her roots in the Jemez Pueblo and aspires to blend her technical skills with her cultural heritage to benefit her community.

Joseph is a Jemez Pueblo tribal member and entrepreneur who has over 15 years of business experience. He has successfully managed his business while maintaining connection to his native culture and language. His leadership skills developed at a young age while Captain of the football team in high school and continued developing as he progressed professionally. Joseph is currently the Tribal Liaison for WESST (Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Team). He is committed to connecting his cultural heritage with new opportunities aimed at fostering prosperity within his community.

Marvis J. Aragon, Jr. (Acoma) currently serves Smart Tribe 275 as Senior Advisor. His professional experience includes serving as Production Manager with a tribally owned manufacturing company, Chief Executive Officer with tribal corporations, Deputy Cabinet Secretary with the NM Indian Affairs Department, small business owner, and serving his community as First Lieutenant Governor. Marvis enjoys supporting business, economic, and community development initiatives by way of training, consultation, coaching, and mentorship. On a personal level, Marvis enjoys family, living his Acoma culture, traveling, ranching, and music and dancing when the work is done.
